Scope note: Enzima (ATPasa AAA) que consta de una subunidad ATPasa de 60 kDa (subunidad A1 de p60) que corta MICROTÚBULOS y de una proteína accesoria de 80kDa (subunidad B1 de p80) que dirige la enzima al CENTROSOMA. Esta enzima libera microtúbulos de los POLOS DEL HUSO MITÓTICO para permitir la despolimerización y el desplazamiento de los cromosomas hacia los polos. Además, es un regulador de la dinámica de los microtúbulos durante la PROYECCIÓN NEURONAL.

Scope note: An enzyme (AAA ATPase) consisting of the 60 kDa ATPase subunit (p60 subunit A1) which severs MICROTUBULES, and an 80 kDa accessory protein (p80 subunit B1), which targets the enzyme to the CENTROSOME. It releases microtubules from the mitotic SPINDLE POLES to allow depolymerization and poleward motion of chromosomes. It is also a regulator of microtubule dynamics in NEURONAL OUTGROWTH.
