La cinasa 1 de adhesión focal interactúa con la PAXILINA y experimenta una FOSFORILACIÓN en respuesta a la adhesión de las integrinas de la superficie celular a la MATRIZ EXTRACELULAR. La proteína p125FAK fosforilada se une a diversas proteínas que contienen DOMINIOS SH2 y DOMINIOS SH3 y ayuda a regular la ADHESIÓN CELULAR y la MIGRACIÓN CELULAR.

Focal adhesion kinase 1 interacts with PAXILLIN and undergoes PHOSPHORYLATION in response to adhesion of cell surface integrins to the EXTRACELLULAR MATRIX. Phosphorylated p125FAK protein binds to a variety of SH2 DOMAIN and SH3 DOMAIN containing proteins and helps regulate CELL ADHESION and CELL MIGRATION.
